Florida Detective Killed in Crash

SUMTER COUNTY, Fla. --

A head-on car crash in Sumter County killed a Bushnell police officer.

Detective Sandra Bullock died Tuesday when she was hit by another car on State Road 471.

Bullock is being remembered as a popular, dedicated officer who was well-respected among her colleagues. Funeral services will be held Monday.

Department Location
Det. Bullock was with the Bushnell Police Department which is located within Sumter County. Our prayers are with her family and friends.

The prayers of the International Conference of Police Chaplains go to the family and officers of her agency. Does anyone know of any spouse, children, parents, etc.?

Joyce was a Captain/Investigator with the Bushnell Police Department. She was a great person and will be missed dearly.
